Black Mission Figs

I buy these in bulk for my hubby who likes to eat these as his "dessert cookie" (i.e. think fig newtons). You get all the sweet without the extra cake. They are also excellent for sweetening frozen smoothies or adding pieces to a dried fruit/nut mix which I make by the gallon. We grow our own figs but last year's freeze set them back. So I occasionally have to replace our stash from companies like TierraFarm. All their products are fresh, tasty and reasonably priced.

Those are really really good..the texture is soft, but not mooshy...I almost wanted to say juicy, but remembered that it is dry fruit. It's perfect. For snack, alone, as a single item, and for many additions to sweet dishes. Hardly recommend.
