Gunpowder Green Tea is a well known Chinese green tea, native to the Zhejiang Province in the eastern coast of China. It gets its name from the shape of the leaves as they were rolled into tiny black pellets- taking on the resemblance of gunpowder grains. It offers a nutty aroma with a soft honey taste followed by a smoky hint.

Use 1 scant teaspoon leaf per 8 oz. water. Allow boiling water to cool slightly, then pour over leaves. Steep 2 minutes. Multiple infusions encouraged.
